Meet JF3

Joseph grew up in Fall River Ma and is a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1999. 

After High School, he attended the Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology ( now Empire Beauty School) in Providence. While at his first Job in Barrington, RI, he befriended and apprenticed for former NYC stylist Maureen Conlon of the Warren-Tricomi Salon( 2000) and credits that experience for the course his life would take from there. Through the years, he also studied and trained with Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Aveda and Goldwell. Between 2000-2005 Joseph worked for Tiffany's Salon and spa in Barrington, RI, Elements Salon and Spa Tiverton, RI ( closed) Source Salon and Spa in Wilton Manors, Florida, Gloria and Co in Fairhaven MA( now Rochester Ma)  and Salon Kroma Providence, RI (Closed).

A new Journey ...

At the end of  2005, Joseph rented space within a friends salon on Federal Hill in Providence RI.  After a short 7 months.... he knew it was time to have his own salon. He came across a space in Newport, RI that would give him a great start. Within 3 months, his new salon Celebeautique Hairspa was open for business at  136 Thames Street in Newport, RI. After 6 fabulous years in that location, he was up for a challenge and a change. In July 2012 the salon was reborn as JF3 Salon and Spa and relocated to 34 Memorial Blvd West in Newport. So much change and growth both personally and professionally between 2012 and 2017. After many fortunate years in Newport, Joseph felt it was time for JF3 Salon and Spa to relocate to 1272 West Main Rd in Middletown, RI.

In 2020, the world came to a screeching halt due to the Covid -19. The salon was forced to close for 3 months like many other business due to the virus. In that 3 months, Joseph felt it was time to revisit his focus on his own life and craft which meant taking the business in a completely direction!  In March of 2021 Joseph moved into his new solo studio space, JF3 Hair! 

Change is one of the only constants in this life. However, one constant is his passion for healthy, beautiful hair and a great rapport with his clients!
